The IBPS SO Recruitment process to
select Specialist officers through IBPS SO 2022 is done in three phases:

the preliminary exam and the main exam to proceed to the interview round. The

IBPS
has introduced 710 Specialist Officers (SO) vacancies for IBPS SO
2022-23 exam along with its notification on 31st October 2022. As this is
the recruitment for Specialist Officer, therefore the vacancies released are
not as high as other banking exams and as compared to last year's vacancies.
This year, the maximum number of vacancies are announced for IBPS SFO (Agriculture Field Officer) i.e.

IBPS will be following the
below-detailed exam pattern for shortlisting eligible candidates for IBPS SO
2022 Exam. The previous year, IBPS introduced separate sectional timing

The preliminary exam will be a
qualifying phase for the mains and candidates will have to meet the cut-offs of

IBPS SO 2022 Admit Card
The IBPS SO 2022 admit card will
be released 10 to 15 days before the exam date. IBPS SO Preliminary exam 2022
is scheduled for 24th, 31st December 2022 and the Mains examination will be
conducted on 29th January 2023. The Admit card for Preliminary Exam is expected
to be out in the first week of December 2022 and the Mains will be out in the
2nd/3rd week of January 2023. The admit card for Mains Exam will be issued to
candidates who have qualified for the preliminary test.

IBPS SO Exam 2022 Results
The IBPS SO Result 2022 will
be released after each phase of the exam has been successfully conducted. A
cumulative score of the mains exam and the interview process is considered to
prepare the final merit list of selected students. The Prelims exam is of
qualifying nature to shortlist candidates for Mains Exam. The merit list is
prepared in descending order of marks obtained by candidates. Candidates who
make it to the merit list will be given the appointment letter by the Bank of
Candidate’s choice.
