Relaxation
There is no maximum age limit
for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most
Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes
(Muslims), and Destitute Widows of all categories.
- Age relaxation up to 10 years above the maximum age
limit is given to differently-abled persons
- The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen is 48 years.
However, the age concession does not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants
who have already been recruited to any class or service, or category.

TNPSC Group 2 recruitment 2022 will
be completed in 3 phases i.e. prelims, mains, personal interview, and on the
other hand there is no interview for TNPSC Group 2 services.
- The preliminary examination will be conducted in
bilingual mode i.e. questions will be available in both the English and
Tamil languages.
- There will be 200 questions for 300 marks.
- The duration of the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is 3
hours.
- The minimum qualifying mark in TNPSC Prelims is 90.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service
Commission will issue the TNPSC Group 2 2022 admit card after receiving all the
applications within time. The admit card is issued to the intimate candidates
about the venue, date, time, and roll number of candidates. It is necessary to
carry admit card along with or original id proof to the examination center,
otherwise, candidates will be restricted to sit in the examination hall if they
failed to show admit card and Id proof.
